Michael Ian Black Pits Comic Against Comic to Debate the Most Unimportant Issues of Our Time
For those of you who didn’t grab tickets to the tapings on 106 and Park back in May, this is your first chance to get a look at Michael Ian Black’s new Seeso series, Debate Wars. MIB brings some of our favorite and your favorite comics together into a little something he calls “the Debatium” to argue, debate, battle and disagree over trivial things, like cats vs dogs, the internet vs real life, and babies vs old people.
The series features a top notch line up with Janeane Garofalo, Mike Lawrence, Judah Friedlander, Gilbert Gottfried, Todd Barry, Aparna Nancherla, and Dave Hill to name just a few. The studio audience gets to decide the winners using a little keypad provided at every chair. There’s also commentators, and a fake Gary Busey randomly interrupting the proceedings.
