This week it was discovered that a Brooklyn mail carrier had hoarded 40,000 pieces of mail. Investigators claimed postal worker Joseph Brucato had stored up over a ton of mail in total after they arrested him last week. Brucato claimed that ‘personal reasons’ had preventing him from delivering some mail for the last six months, but some of the pieces found in his home dated to almost ten years ago. Mail hoarders are pretty hard to expose, so we came up with a list of ways to tell that your mail carrier might not be doing their job properly.
