Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman are Releasing a Duo Comedy Special

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman are offering the world a tour of their 13-year-marriage in a comedy and musical variety special through Epix. A performance of the couple’s stage production “Summer of 69: No Apostrophe” at Irvine Barclay Theatre in Irvine, CA will be filmed and set to air Friday, May 19th at 10 PM.

The duo’s sweet and raunchy variety show will feature song, dance, comedy and the details of their shared lives. According to Offerman and Mullally, “We love to make sweet love to each other in general, so to be paid millions of dollars to do it in front of an audience is just that much sweeter.” While Mullally was beloved by a generation for her role in “Will & Grace”, she more recently won over a wider, younger generation with her role as Offerman’s ruthless ex-wife Tammy on “Parks & Rec”. Offerman also rose through “Parks & Rec” to be an internet ubiquity as the stoic, manlier-than-life Ron Swanson who shares more than a few characteristics with real life Offerman. Since the show’s end in 2015, Offerman’s cropped up in film and as an author, but it’s exciting for a project to arise that keeps the couple in the public conscience while combining their talents.
