In what may have been a first in late night television, Jimmy Kimmel Live guest Matthew Perry unveiled a new innovation in celebrity talk shows, the live clip.

The former Chandler Bing, Matthew Perry, was on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the season 3 premiere of CBS’ “The Odd Couple”. When the JKL host asked if Perry had brought a clip of the show, Perry did him one better. Waiting backstage was Thomas Lennon who plays the Felix Unger to Matthew Perry’s Oscar Madison on “The Odd Couple”. They treated the audience to a clip of the show acted out live. The two did a quick yet all encompassing scene on a set designed to look like Oscar’s messy bedroom. Bonus TV Fun Fact: You might also know Thomas Lennon from Matthew Perry’s days on “Friends”. He played Joey’s identical hand twin in the two-part episode “The One in Vegas”.

As for the rest of Matthew Perry’s interview, he coughed up a couple of big secrets to Jimmy Kimmel. We found out that Perry is a late in life Batman fan and he has is own Batman room in his home. You can see a photo of his Batman memorabilia in the clips below. Perry’s love of Batman which he says he’s only felt for the past few years, come from enjoying the Christian Bale Bat-Trilogy. Not Adam West, not Michael Keaton, not Val Kilmer, not George Clooney, not Ben Affleck…just Christian Bale. Okay.

Matthew Perry also revealed the music that he’s into that he’s loved every since he was a kid. He used to hide his actual music tastes when he was young behind the facade of wearing rock t-shirts although never liking any of the music his shirts were promoting. Find out what tunes Matthew Perry is into and how his mom blew up his charade one morning at the school bus stop by watching the clips of his Kimmel Live interview below.
