Mark Normand’s First Hour Special to Debut Next Month, And Amy Schumer is Presenting It

Mark Normand, New York City comedian and one half of the popular Tuesdays With Stories podcast alongside comedian Joe List, has his first one hour special coming out next month. Titled Amy Schumer Presents Mark Normand: Don’t Be Yourself, the special will be quintessential Normand, an admittedly introverted guy who picks apart the often-awkward day-to-day interactions we all have with a degree of dry, expertly-delivered comedic timing that makes him one of the best up-and-comers in the industry.

Normand has been on the scene for over ten years now, and in that time has earned himself quite a few accolades. His upcoming special was listed by Vulture as one of 2017’s “Can’t Miss Specials,” and won first place at the 2016 Great American Comedy Festival’s “Funny 20” competition. He’s previously shot a Half Hour special and recorded an album, called Still Got It, with Comedy Central, and has made various appearances on TV shows, from Conan and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to @midnight and Inside Amy Schumer.

“Mark Normand will make you laugh and feel a lot better about yourself,” said Schumer of her friend’s special.

Amy Schumer Presents Mark Normand: Don’t Be Yourself is set to debut on Friday, May 12th on Comedy Central. Leading up to the premiere, clips from the special will be put up on Comedy Central’s website and their Snapchat account, so be sure to keep an eye out for some sneak peeks as the date gets closer!
