Mario Cantone Debuts as Anthony Scaramucci on ‘The President Show,’ Foreshadows Reince Priebus Firing

Thursday night, comedian Mario Cantone made his debut as newly-appointed White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, prophetically predicting a major shake-up in the White House in the process.

When Anthony Atamanuik’s Donald Trump first introduced Cantone as Scaramucci, saying “I’d like to introduce you to my favorite new team member who I will eventually betray,” it immediately seemed like a no-brainer. Scaramucci has made quite a statement with his impassioned addresses to the press in his first few days in his new post, and Cantone was able to capture that loud-mouthed bravado with ease.

Cantone’s Scaramucci started off his address by professing his undying love for Trump before quickly telling the press that “I’m going to fire so many people, I don’t know who it’s gonna be, Reince. I’m going to get to the bottom of the leakage in the White House, you hear me, Reince?” Well, it appears that Cantone’s Scaramucci meant what he said, because it was announced earlier today, (via Twitter, as Trump tends to do) that Chief of Staff Reince Priebus was being replaced by current Secretary of Homeland Security John F. Kelly. Something, something about art imitating life.
