Man Demands Gun and Ammo At Dick’s Sporting Goods. Kills Himself With It.

A guy at a Dick’s Sporting Goods store shot and killed himself in the bathroom with a shotgun and ammo he had asked to see from the clerk. When the employee handed him the gun and ammo, he pulled out a handgun (that turned out to be not loaded) and demanded that the clerk undo the safety on the weapon. He had a 4 hour stand off with police before shooting himself. No one else was hurt.
