Jay Leno, Tom Cotter and Caroline Rhea are headlining this year’s Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. The festival is taking place from August 6th through the 10th in Jamestown, New York.

Caroline Rhea, former star of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and host of The Biggest Loser, will headline a stand-up showcase on the 7th. The showcase features rising comics Moody McCarthy, Carmen Lynch and Andrew Norelli, who have appeared on Leno, Letterman and Conan.

On the 8th, comedian Kerri Louise is opening for Boston favorite Tom Cotter. Cotter is perhaps most well-known for being the first comic finalist on American’s Got Talent.

Legendary comic and Tonight Show host Jay Leno is going to perform for a sold-out audience on the 9th, along with musical guest Lucie Arnaz. Following the performance, Arnaz will join fans for a meet-and-greet cocktail reception.

From the 7th through the 9th, The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum will host late night performances featuring young comics from across the country.

The festival also hosts comedy workshops, free family comedy featuring Nels Ross, free comedy happy hours, I Love Lucy outdoor viewing parties, and other Lucy themed events.

The Lucille Ball Comedy Festival is the first of four components of the Lucy Desi Museum & Center for Comedy. A comedy film festival, comedic arts education program, and a multi-media comedy center are in the works. The National Comedy Center is projected to open in 2016,
and will be located in Jamestown.
