Louie Anderson Will Return to Unmasked at SiriusXM with a Live Studio Audience

Louie Andersonis returning to Unmasked! The tv and stand up comedy star will be the next guest on SiriusXM’s critically acclaimed Unmasked series in New York City with host .

Anderson and Bennington will tape the hour at SiriusXM’s headquarters in New York City in front of a live audience on Friday, April 13, at 1pm at the Sirius XM Studios. He’s coming in to promote his new book, Hey Mom: Stories for My Mother, But You Can Read Them Too, available now in stores and online, as well as his brand new stand up album and special, Big Underwear, available on Amazon, Comcast, DIRECTV, AT&T, DISH, iTunes, Charter, Google Play and many other platforms.

Louie last appeared on Bennington’s Unmasked series in 2016 after making his television comeback starring as ’ mom Christine Baskets on FX’s critically acclaimed series Baskets.  Before Baskets, you already knew Louie as one of the country’s top stand up comedians, regularly selling out venues in Vegas and all over the country, and there’s a whole generation who know him as host of Family Feud. He’s also written three best-selling books, recorded several stand up specials, and created the cartoon series, Life With Louie.

In the one hour episode, Louie talked candidly about growing up with an alcoholic father and the influence his mother had on him and his personality.  He explained how he found his comedy voice, told the amazing story of his first Tonight Show appearance, shared his secret to really nailing the part of Christine, and left a giant impression on the audience talking about inclusion that left the audience teary eyed.

The Unmasked series documents the careers of the very best comedy writers, directors, filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, satirists, political comedians, comedic musicians and of course, stand up comedians in the business. With over 150 episodes so far, Unmasked is a veritable archive of the greatest comedy of our time.
