Los Angeles’ Giant Slip-N-Slide Cancelled Because Of Drought
City officials in L.A. have called off a 1000 foot long Slip-n-Slide event that was sold out. The reason is because of protests against a water slide that uses up to 20,000 gallons of water while California is under drought conditions. The alternative to cancelling the Slip-n-Slide was to use it without the water and just call it a “Sit-n-Burn”.
