Countless theater, television, film and comedic endeavors have pushed David Alan Grier’s career to remarkable heights and his ability to excel across all mediums and contexts is a testament to his inherent sense of comic timing and creative drive. The three-time Tony and GRAMMY Award nominee was trained in Shakespeare at Yale where he received an MFA from the Yale School of Drama. Grier has enjoyed many accolades and awards throughout his career, not the least of which was his inclusion on Comedy Central’s list of the “100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time.”
On the big screen, David Alan Grier was recently seen starring in PEEPLES, produced by Tyler Perry, opposite Kerry Washington and Craig Robinson. Grier made his film debut in STREAMERS (1983), directed by Robert Altman for which he won the Golden Lion for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival. He also appeared in the Wayans Brothers’ spoof movie DANCE FLICK (2009).
Grier’s television work is highlighted by a turn as principal cast member on the Emmy Award winning In Living Color (1990–1994) where he helped to create some of the show’s most memorable characters, DAG (2000–2001) and Life with Bonnie (2003) which earned an Image and Golden Satellite nomination. David created, wrote and executive produced a show for Comedy Central called Chocolate News (2008). Last fall, David starred in THE WATSONS GO TO BIRMINGHAM, a Hallmark Channel adaptation of Paul Curtis’ 1996 Newbery Award-winning novel by the same name. Grier recently wrapped shooting a starring role as ‘Principal Carl Gaines’ in a new series for CBS, Bad Teacher.

Originally from Dallas, Iliza Shlesinger moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College. She is the only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Her debut one-hour comedy special, War Paint, reached #1 on the iTunes charts and was named one of its Top 10 Albums of 2013. In early 2015, Shlesinger’s follow-up Freezing Hot, a Netflix Original Comedy Special, sealed her title as one of the hottest touring acts in America, with Esquire Magazine listing her as one of the top working comedians today.
Her next Netflix stand-up special Confirmed Kills was just filmed at The Vic Theatre in Chicago and will premiere in September 2016.
Shlesinger’s live stand-up resume also includes performing at the coveted Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, and most recently the New York Comedy Festival.  A National Headliner, Iliza tours year-round selling out hundreds of clubs and colleges throughout the US, and Canada. In 2015 she performed a run of successful shows in London and will return in 2016.  Shlesinger also participated in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s personal USO Tour throughout the Middle East and Europe, as well as Al Roker’s Today Show USO Tour in Afghanistan, with Jay Leno and Craig Robinson.
Shlesinger’s television credits include hosting the CBS syndicated comedy dating show Excused, for which she filmed 230 episodes, as well as multiple appearances on NBC’S Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central Presents, Today Show, The View, Hollywood Game Night, E! Entertainment’s Chelsea Lately, The Soup, NBC’S Last Call with Carson Daly and the TBS show Deal With It.
She can be currently seen on TBS in her new series “Separation Anxiety” which premiered in March and later in 2016  her short-form scripted comedy series starring herself for ABC Network’s soon-to-be launched digital platform. Recently, Weinstein Books announced it will publish Shlesinger’s first book Girl Logic in the Spring 2017.

No jokes about dating, sex, or feminine hygiene. Just about everything else, though.” – The Comic’s Comic
All the comedians must do a set with no mention of sex, relationships, whatever gender they are sexually attracted to, or their genitals. After each set, hosts Katie Hannigan and Corinne Fisher give them a score from 1-10 to see how well they adhered to the project and during the set the comic will get “buzzed” if they outright fuck-up.
