Line-Up for ‘This Is Not Happening’ S3 Announced

Earlier today, Comedy Central announced a huge chunk of the line-up for the third season of Ari Shaffir’s This Is Not Happening, and big surprise: it’s absolutely full of killers (the good kind.) The story-telling series features Shaffir’s friends and fellow comics regaling hilarious and terrifyingly true stories to a packed Cheetah’s Strip Club in Hollywood. Originating online, the series made its way to cable in the beginning of last year. To date, the show has featured appearances by comics such as Joey Diaz, Tom Segura, Big Jay Oakerson, TJ Miller, Joe Rogan, Marc Maron, Artie Lange, and Natasha Leggero and various others.

This year, the show’s roster will feature some fresh faces, on top of returning comics like Diaz and Oakerson, including: Louie Anderson, Maria Bamford, Bonnie McFarlane, Andy Kindler, Russell Peters, Bert Kreischer, Greg Fitzsimmons, Andrew WK, Liza Treyger, Sofiya Alexandra, Gastor Almonte, Dan St. Germain, Joe List and many, many more.

The show will return to Cheetah’s to film the upcoming season with ten new episodes in the pipeline, plus some extra content being filmed for Comedy Central’s website. The tapings will take place from May 22nd through the 25th, with performances at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. each night. Tickets to the shows are free and can be signed up for here.

If you have never seen the show before, or if reading this article simply gave you the urge to watch comics tell some embarrassing/potentially legally-damning stories, then check out the clip below, which features LA-based comedian Christina Pazsitzky:
