“Box Set” takes a look at those great pairings between writers, actors, musicians, artists, directors, etc., that aren’t just “one and done” projects, but span years, sometimes even decades. Follow these collaborations between iconic figures as they developed together in their respective art forms.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese

With 5 films spanning over a decade, the collaboration between director Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio has helped both of them to achieve  new levels of artistic and box office success. For Scorsese, it cemented his place as one of the greatest directors in the film history. For DiCaprio, it showed the world that there’s real acting chops behind his matinee idol looks. The financial success of these projects also proved that even in a business that’s centered around youth-oriented special effects driven films, there was still a place for adult, uncompromising, sometimes brutally honest films about the human condition.
