Lenny Kravitz to Play Marvin Gaye


The film is being made by Julien Temple, who directed Sex Pistols film The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle’ and 2006’s Glastonbury, among many others.

It will be singer Kravitz’s first major film role.

    This won’t work, Marvin Gaye’s songs aren’t the same line over and over again.

    You gotta get Julien Temple in studio.  He’s directed so many classic music videos and amazing documentaries.  The Joe Strummer doc is incredible.
