Who is On Late Night Tonight in Comedy: Week of February 19, 2018

Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

While the Winter Olympics continue in South Korea, so does the hiatus for the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers. The two NBC late night programs continue to be pre-empted for Olympic coverage all this week. Also, Conan O’Brien who’s a huge source for late night stand up comedy performances, is stretching out his vacation another week. So no Coco. Other than that everyone is back at work. Except for Monday. It’s President’s Day and no one is working, including the current the President. Although, Trevor Noah will be hosting a holiday special with The Daily Show: The Unpresidential Day Special on Comedy Central.

For Tuesday highlights, we have one for the comedy category and one for the gossipy category. Zach Galifianakis is on the Late Late Show with James Corden and he always comes prepared for any late night appearance. Also on Tuesday, Justin Theroux will be on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. So, any of you who are still on “Team Aniston,” will want to tune in to see if Justin has anything to say about his break-up with America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston after it seemed like she had finally found the happiness she’d been looking for since Brad Pitt. One moment please while I grab a tissue.

On Wednesday, Conan has a repeat episode definitely worth watching again with his guests very funny American comedian Pete Holmes and very funny Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss. This could actually count as a Conan: Across Borders special. Thursday, there could be big political news coming out of late night. Jimmy Kimmel hosts Oprah Winfrey and not only will Kimmel try to find out if Oprah is running for President, expect him to encourage her as well. Also on Thursday, The Opposition with Jordan Klepper has a rare comedy guest when Jordan welcomes comedian/activist Ali Saddiq to the Opposition on Comedy Central.

One last reminder for something that won’t be airing. Saturday Night Live is still pre-empted on Saturday for coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympic games. SNL won’t be back until March, 2018 when the show returns live March 3rd with host Charles Barkley and musical guest Migos.
