Lakers Are Making Their Rookies Carry Baby Dolls

Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott is requiring his rookie players take care of a baby doll for the season. No, he’s dead serious:

“They are in charge of bringing them to every home game, making sure they are right by their locker, that the baby is not crying or anything like that, then after the game take them home. My only concern is they will go in the family room, there are so many kids there they might try to take their babies. So they have to watch their babies, then on game days on the road they have to wear baby backpacks.”

Look, we can blame some of 12-33 on Kobe being in denial that it’s over, but if this team doesn’t improve now that the Mamba’s out, this will not look good.
