LaCroix Water Tells Comedian Joe Mande, Please Don’t Represent Us

BEFOREAFTER

In the biggest scandal since Aflac, LaCroix has told comedian Joe Mande to stop loving them so much.

Comedian Joe Mande has taken to the twitter feeds and posted what appears to be a very rude letter from the folks at LaCroix Waters.

Up until now, Mande has been the world’s biggest fan of LaCroix sparkling water products and everyone knows it. Big time comedy celebrity, pitching your product for free– sounds pretty sweet for Team LaCroix.

But those days are over after Mande says he received a letter from the company asking him to stay off their side. From the looks of the letter, the company feels their crystal clear sparkling reputation is in jeopardy, saying “many of our consumers find your political views and jokes offensive” and “please immediately stop misrepresenting yourself as an official spokesperson for Lacroix and refrain from doing so in the future.”  They have also asked Mande to stop using their intellectual property on his website or they might have to consider taking further action.

So Mande has renounced his love of Lacroix and is shopping for a new water to represent.  The outpouring of support for Mande has been massive.  Count us in.

It’s okay Joe, there’s plenty of smutty water out there you can get behind. For example, you could represent Boston! They’re not worried about their reputation when it comes to water, and we hear they’re handing out holidays too.
