Facebook CTO Bret Taylor, inventor of the Like button, says there was an internal debate at Facebook whether or not to create a Dislike button. Ultimately, they figured it would be misused so they never created it. Thanks to internet trolls, people now can’t genuinely dislike something on social media, they might actually have to write out a sentence in a comment section.
