Kristy McNichol Gay! Nobody Shocked!!

It’s always fun when obviously gay people come out as gay. Kristy McNichol played Buddy Lawrence in the ’70s TV show Family and later Barbara Weston in Empty Nest. And of course everyone remembers her portrayal as, well as little butch girls in movies like Little Darlings. McNichol hasn’t been seen in the public eye in 20 years but said she wanted to come out to support bullied kids. So, if you are a kid and some big bully wants your lunch money just tell him that Buddy Lawrence is gay and he should chill out pretty quickly. In other news Jimmy J.J. Walker is black.
