Kevin Hart Developing Showtime Music/Comedy Series with Rapper T.I.

Showtime is adding to its recent uptick in off-the-beaten path original comedy. The pay network is developing a music-themed office comedy that will be executive produced by Kevin Hart along with rapper T.I.
The series will be penned by Everybody Hates Chris‘ Aeysha Carr and will be set in a music recording studio.
Both T.I. and Kevin Hart are expected to appear in the series.
Showtime has an active comedy slate as part of its programming. In addition to airing multiple original stand up comedy specials this year, Showtime has a number of unique comedy series or comedy-hybrid series on its current roster including DICE, I’m Dying Up Here, Shameless and Episodes.
