Kathy Griffin Asking Fans for Help Making Some Money

Kathy Griffin is selling tickets worldwide, but she’s having some real trouble back home ever since she started speaking her mind.

In a new video posted on YouTube, Griffin reaches out to her fans, calling for an end to the blacklist against her.  Griffin wants to be back on television, and she wants to be paid what the guys are paid, but says that because she has been blacklisted in the business, once she comes back to the US, she doesn’t have a single show in her future. Over the course of the five-ish minute “State of The Union” video she also says she was un-invited from giving the opening remarks at an annual breakfast put on by The Hollywood Reporter.

In the video, Griffin addresses fan suggestions that she take this time to go back to the clubs.  She doesn’t want to do free shows, and says she is too old to go play those clubs. “I did that for decades,” she says, “I think I should be able to get my life back.”

“I know I took a picture that offended a lot of people but this wall of crap has never fallen on any woman in the history of America like it has on me.” Although she acknowledges Earth Kitt, she remarks that even Kitt didn’t have Fox news.

She ends the video referring to herself as the “Mayor of Zero Fucksville.” If this is a pilot for a new nutty reality series, Griffin is off to a good start.

This is the second YouTube video Griffin has put out airing her grievances to the universe. In the first, Griffin spoke out against Harvey Levin, and even aired his phone number– that was back at the end of October after TMZ ran a piece with Andy Cohen who is replacing Griffin on CNN’s New Years Eve show. Griffen has been in the news steadily in 2017- most famously for releasing a photograph holding up a severed Trump head, and more recently for fighting with her neighbor.
