Another piece of the Daily Show puzzle has been added. So far we know that Jon Stewart is leaving as host of the Comedy Central show. Trevor Noah is replacing him. And now we know the date of Stewart’s last show. He’ll wrap up nearly 17 years of the Daily Show on Thursday, August 6th.

Jon Stewart made the announcement at the end of Monday’s Daily Show. He recently talked about why he decided to step down saying that he wasn’t getting the same satisfaction from doing the nightly series and did not have the passion to cover another Presidential election. Stewart also hasn’t given any specific plans for what he wants to do next.

The outgoing Daily Show host used the announcement of his last show as an opportunity to promote Night of Too Many Stars and New York Collaborates for Autism. The program that benefits autism awareness and charities across the country is raffling off an amazing experience to be there for Jon Stewart’s final Daily Show taping. Fans who donate can earn chances to be there in studio when Jon Stewart says goodbye. Every $10 buys a 100 chances to win. The winner and a friend will fly to New York, stay at a 4 star hotel and sit in a VIP section at the final taping. Jon Stewart has even promised a selfie with the winner.
