“Everywhere you look. Everywhere you go”…fans are talking about “Full House” returning to television on Netflix. TV’s Uncle Jesse, John Stamos made the announcement on Jimmy Kimmel Live that the sitcom from the late 80s and 90s will be updated with 13 new episodes on the streaming service. The new series “Fuller House” will premiere in 2016. John Stamos said he got the final word to announce the new “Full House” 5 minutes before he went on Jimmy Kimmel Live and was able to give Jimmy the exclusive. Stamos will produce and guest star on the series.

Stamos said he and the original producers have been working on this for years. He added that the final concept includes a reunion of the characters and then into a spin-off series where the Tanner girls are now raising their own families. Of course, it wouldn’t be “Full House” without the loss of a spouse. In the updated version, grown up DJ Tanner is now a pregnant widow. DJ’s sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) move in to help her raise DJ’s two boys and the new baby.

Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content for Netflix said, “As big fans of the original Full House, we are thrilled to be able to introduce Fuller House’s new narrative to existing fans worldwide, who grew up on the original, as well as a new generation of global viewers that have grown up with the Tanners in syndication.”

Who else coming back to fill the “Fuller House”!? John Stamos says they are working to get everyone back at least for the one hour reunion special that kicks off the new series including Bob Saget (who he claims will be there), Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin. As for the billionaire Olsen Twins, Uncle Jesse couldn’t say for sure if they will reprise the role of Michelle Tanner, but he does have an alternative if that doesn’t work out.
