Joe List Performs Stand Up on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Joe List performed stand up on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and absolutely crushed his set. Joe pulled off a triple threat, with multiple applause breaks, a huge standing ovation and tons of love of twitter from people who were already fans, and brand new fans.  Joe talked about body shaming, having problems at the gym,  and offered a surefire test for finding out what you really look like.

This was List’s Tonight Show debut and not only did he have an amazing set, but he did it after following Jim Jefferies telling an Axl Rose story.

Joe’s been performing the set live around town and it’s been killing in the clubs, so we knew he was going to do great, but its still always thrilling to see a late night audience love a comedian as much as we do. List has a gigantic career ahead of him- he has consistently been outperforming himself. We first met him in 2014 when he was a competitor on Caroline’s prestigious New York’s Funniest show, and soon after he won our first annual #Highlander Comedian Football Challenge.  Since then he’s been unstoppable, with a great run on Last Comic Standing, and his first Comedy Central half hour special in 2015, two great albums, multiple Conan appearances, his madly popular podcast with Mark Normand, Tuesdays With Stories and his brand new half hour Netflix special this year.

Watch his set below and scroll down to see some of the love Joe is getting on Twitter from fans, fellow comedians and some brand new fans. Then go watch his Netflix half hour, part of Season Two of The Stand Ups. Search “The Stand Ups” on Netflix now!
