Jimmy Fallon Gives a Musical Tribute to Garry Shandling, Sings Theme Song

The Tonight Show surprised us when they taped Thursday’s show without any reference or tribute to Garry Shandling who was such a big part of the show’s history and legacy.
Instead Fallon opted to wait until Friday, after his monologue, to pay tribute to the comedy legend. Fallon shared some thoughts, a clip from Shandling’s first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson in 1981, and then performed a rousing cover of Shandling’s brilliant theme song from “It’s Gary Shandling’s Show” originally performed by Bill Lynch.
