Jim Gaffigan Is “Obsessed” On Comedy Central

The world premiere of Jim Gaffigan’s brand new one-hour comedy special “Jim Gaffigan: Obsessed” will debut on Comedy Central on Sunday, April 27th at 10 pm Eastern. The Extended and Uncensored Edition of “Jim Gaffigan: Obsessed” will be available the  next day on the Comedy Central App. His special was taped live at The Wilbur Theater in Boston.  The new hour focuses on all Jim’s obsessions, especially the ones that are edible — man does not live by Hot Pockets alone. He also delves into his problems with weddings, underwear and his desire to just not smell.

Gaffigan has had a busy year.  Last May, his book, “Dad Is Fat” debuted at #5 on the New York Times Best Sellers list and stayed on the list for over 4 months.

“Jim Gaffigan: Obsessed” airs Sunday, April 27th at 10 pm Eastern on Comedy Central, with the Extended and Uncut Edition available the next day on the Comedy Central App. Then on Tuesday, April 29th, “Obsessed” is available on DVD and Blu-ray, and for download on CC: Stand-Up Direct, iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, Amazon Instant Video, Vudu and Target.
