Jim Carrey Weirdness Continues at Fashion Week

“Do you believe in icons?”

trolled the Fashion Week crowd in New York City this week with a weird interview with E! “I don’t believe in icons, I don’t believe in personalities, I believe that peace lies beyond personality,” he added. It’s unclear whether Carrey is going philosophical on us, or just fucking around, but it’s clear that Carrey is planning on staying in the news for awhile and regardless of whether you like his message, at least it’s not dull.

Carrey was in the news last week when he told members of the press that he was “psychotic” when he was filming Man on the Moon (the Andy Kaufman biopic), and that Jim Carrey the person ceased to exist. He was at the Venice Film Festival promoting the new documentary Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond – The Story of Jim Carrey & Andy Kaufman Featuring a Very Special, Contractually Obligated Mention of Tony Clifton, which was picked up by Netflix on Monday.
