Jerry Seinfeld Re-Performs His Very First Stand Up Set on Letterman
What’s the deal with weathermen? What’s the deal with glasses? For his last appearance as a Late Show guest, Jerry Seinfeld paid tribute to Dave Letterman by re-performing the first stand up set he ever performed on Dave’s show, May 13, 1982.
Later he tried a Late Show first, turning the tables and making Dave a guest on his own show. Jerry becomes the latest in a long line of people telling Letterman he shouldn’t be quitting. Dave says he blames his wife for wanting to spend more time “as a family.” And he seems concerned about how you get your suits if you don’t host a talk show. Dave’s kids have some concerns too. Now with Dad around all the time, will the Cartoon Network be banned from the house?
