Jeff Garcia Wants To Coach The 49ers

Former 49ers QB Jeff Garcia wants to be the head coach of the current team even though he has no experience. He admits it is a far-fetched idea though, and that “they” don’t want you to take “shortcuts”. Garcia said “They want you to go through the process — they want you to start as the assistant, they want you to work your way up to the coordinator, they want you to work your way into that head coach position.” But then he goes on to say his 17 years of experience and the fact that his father was apparently a head coach. Welcome to 2017, where job experience really doesn’t matter anymore.

    Darn.

I can’t watch the video because I have an ad blocker enabled.

    I’m heart broken.

Rich G  I don’t need to see the video to know that:
    1. Jeff Garcia couldn’t do any worse on the sidelines than Chip Kelly, or
    2. Jeff Garcia couldn’t do any worse behind centre than Colin Kaepernick.
He’s unlikely to be named coach or quarterback, but “quarterback coach”????
    I’m sold.
