Why Are So Many Celebrities Wearing T-Shirts From a Small Canadian Company?

More and more celebrities are being spotted in t-shirts that look like they like came from expensive vintage shops all over the world. It turns out a lot of them came from the same place, Jack of all Trades.

Bill Kelliher from the band Mastodon shows off his Rush t-shirt while performing.  Comedian Hal Sparks is wearing a specialized “Punisher” design from Jack of all Trades to the Avengers premiere. Corey Taylor from Slipknot went Marvel Superheroes.    And Robert Downey Jr. is showing up everywhere in his Jack of all Trades Iron Man t-shirts and other clothing. He’s a man who loves wearing his movie alter ego on his chest. RDJ shows off one of the perks of being Iron Man on Jimmy Kimmel Live – his Jack of all Trades Iron Man t-shirt.

Jack of all Trades says one of the reasons they are appealing to celebrities because they combine vintage distressed designs  with the quality of a new designer shirt.  All shirts are produced in small batches and available in limited distribution to keep them unique, and they retire designs, so you get to feel special.  But probably the real reason celebrities are loud and proud about their Jack shirts, is that the company gives back, big time.  Everything they sell is made in local economies across the Americas and printed in Canada. Plus, with each t-shirt bought, you help the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, and the company  is also a leading sponsor of The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.

They do a huge amount of printing from  both comic book universes. Their DC line includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, the Justice League and villains like the Joker, Two-Face and Bane. They’re also doing big business with retro kidswear for grown ups like Muppets, Popeye, Snoopy, the Smurfs and Hello Kitty. And they have exclusive t-shirt designs that feature famous concerts and album covers from David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Rush.
