Jack Black Says New Movie Coming From Tenacious D

Jack Black has announced that 2018 will bring about the return of Tenacious D. A sequel to their 2006 film, The Pick Of Destiny, is on the way. Details are a bit fuzzy about whether the film will be in theaters, streaming or via DVD, digital download, VOD or some other fabulous method, but Black claims that the movie will be out in October.
Music blog MyAJC broke the news, which came during a performance by Jack Black and Kyle Gass at Atlanta’s Shaky Knees Fest. “I don’t know where you’ll be able to see it, but we have decided that it’s happening and it’s coming out,” Black said.
Black had already announced an upcoming musical comedy rock opera, Post-Apocalypto.
