J.B. Smoove’s SNL Pitches Were as Crazy as You Imagine They Would Be

J.B. Smoove who you know and love from Curb Your Enthusiasm and as the wildman host of Last Comic Standing in 2014, and as the madman of periscope and as the most styling comedian in the country was also a writer on Saturday Night Live for two years from 2003-2005.

Wednesday night on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Seth and J.B. reminisced about some of Smoove’s rejected sketch pitches.  They are as batshit bananas amazing as you imagine they would be.

Hit the clip to enjoy J.B. explain “The Guy Who Worked at Subway Who Used to be a Bank Teller” and “The ApPIMPtice with Snoop Dog” and “Infomercial for a Cheap Face Lift” and “The Helicopter Family” and “The First Football Player to Smack Another Mans Ass”.

These ideas are honestly too good for SNL.  They are so good, don’t even need to be performed! Who wouldn’t watch thirty minutes of J.B. pitching ideas!?

Can we kickstart Smoove Tank?

You can’t watch Smoove Tank….yet…but you can watch J.B.’s amazing show “Four Courses” on the MSG Channel.  And you should.
