Internet Goes Crazy Over 9/11 Seinfeld Script

seinfeld

How would the cast of Seinfeld have reacted to September 11th?  What storylines would there be?  Who would have lost a friend or family member? Who would suffer anxiety? Who would be the rock? And who would be moved to volunteer?

Seinfeld aired its last episode in 1998, and never had to react to a post-September 11th New York City. But if you’ve ever pondered how Jerry, Elaine, George and the rest of the cast would have been affected by the horrific events of 2001, you can read this new script making its rounds around the internet that has everyone talking.

The 44 page script was written by comedian and writer Billy Domineau who is a contributor to SNL’s Weekend Update. He titled the episode “The Twin Towers”

Domineau told Sean McCarthy of The Comic’s Comic that he wrote the script in Los Angeles a few months ago after the idea came to him while talking about bad taste.  “I was helping someone write a sketch a few months back and told them theirs needed to be an exercise in bad taste, ‘Like imagine if there was a 9/11 episode of Seinfeld…wait a minute.'”

The full episode is available for everyone to read and every media outlet in America is raving about its dark humor.
