“Inside Amy Schumer” Gets 4th Season. Season 3 Starts Tonight.

As Season 3 starts tonight, Season 4 has already been announced. Comedy Central renewed “Inside Amy Schumer” for a 4th season. Amy announced the news on the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night.The announcement of the new season adds to Amy’s incredible run that includes hosting the MTV Movie Awards this year, an Emmy nomination and a Peabody win for her series, receiving CinemaCon’s “Breakthrough Performer of the Year” award this week and the premiere of her first feature film “Trainwreck” directed by Judd Apatow this Summer.

Kent Alterman, Comedy Central President of Content Development and Original Programming, commented on the news about Season 4. He said, “We love being ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ and are thrilled our audience agrees.” Amy Schumer is thrilled and apprehensive about the new episodes. “I’m so happy to keep the ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ family together. Excited and scared for everyone to see what we do next.”

Season 3 of “Inside Amy Schumer” premieres tonight at 10:30pm et on Comedy Central. The new season includes appearances by Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Giamatti, Dennis Quaid, Jeff Goldblum, Josh Charles, Method Man, Colin Quinn, Kumail Nanjiani, Rob Morrow, Kathy Najimy, America Ferrara, Natasha Lyonne, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Jemima Kirke, Justin Long, Amber Tamblyn, Wyatt Cenac, Jennifer Coolidge, Mike Birbiglia, Michael Ian Black, Rachel Dratch, Eugene Mirman, Bill Nye and Jon Dore.

“Trainwreck” written and starring Amy Schumer will be released nationwide on Friday, July 17th.
