Iliza Shlesinger Is Telling Women’s Secrets In Her Netflix Special “Freezing Hot”
Iliza Shlesinger is following up her hit comedy special “War Paint” with a brand new stand up hour, “Freezing Hot”. Her new special will be available Friday, January 23rd on Netflix.
Iliza who holds the distinction of being not only the youngest winner of “Last Comic Standing” but also the only woman to win the title, continues with her own brand of female empowerment. If there is a girl code about keeping the secrets that all women share, Iliza Shlesinger is about the blow the lid off of it. Iliza’s debut comedy special, “War Paint” reached number one on iTunes and is also currently available on Netflix.
If you’re in Baltimore this weekend and can’t wait until next week for “Freezing Hot” to premiere, Iliza will be at the Comedy Factory starting Thursday at 8pm and this weekend, with two shows Friday and two shows Saturday.
The next television stop for Iliza is ABC. She’s developing a comedy series for the network based on her stand up called “Forever 31”. In the pilot she’s working on, Iliza plays a version of herself where she and her early 30 something friends are still finding it a struggle to reach adulthood. The sitcom is being produced by Mark Gordon (Private Practice, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy).
