Iliza Shlesinger Signs Podcast Deal with Levity Entertainment Group
Levity Entertainment Group announced today the launch of the “Truth & Iliza” Podcast featuring Iliza Shlesinger. The weekly interview show will feature Iliza talking with guests talking about the annoying things in life. The deal is part of Levity’s Sideshow Network. “Truth & Iliza” is one of the many comedic podcasts Sideshow Network is producing as part of an initiative to take today’s top live touring comedians and showcase them both digitally and in LEG’s nationwide network of Improv and Levity Live comedy clubs.
Iliza’s recent one hour comedy special premiered earlier this year, and she is one of the hottest touring acts in America, and later this year TBS will debut 14 episodes of her highly anticipated original comedy game show series, “Separation Anxiety.”
Originally from Dallas, Shlesinger moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Emerson College. She is the only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. In 2013, her debut one-hour comedy special, War Paint, reached #1 on the iTunes charts and was named one of the Top 10 Albums of 2013 on iTunes. Esquire recently listed her as one of the top working comedians today.
