The world moves pretty swiftly. On Sunday, we’re all watching daily fantasy ads constantly, teams and leagues are buying in and promoting the games, TV networks are dedicating shows and segments to it, and no one gives a turkey when everyone’s pretty much calling it a loophole for legalized gambling. Monday, the New York Times reveals a DraftKings employee with access to “insider information” won over $300k on FanDuel. Come Tuesday, and ESPN’s pulling sponsored segments, DraftKings is pulling the rest of the advertising, Outside The Lines is shining the spotlight on the situation, leagues are trying to distance themselves as much as possible, and Congress is looking to get involved.

That’s how quick shit can fall apart, Jack. At least you got in early and won enough cash to get yourself a Whopper Meal.
