When Michael Che left The Daily Show in September he left such a big void behind, that The Daily Show needed two new guys to fill it.  Today it was announced that in November, the very funny Hasan Minhaj will be climbing on board the Daily Show train to join“The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!”  and then Trevor Noah will follow with a December start date.

Minhaj was featured as one of the Just for Laugh’s New Faces in Montreal this year, and has been seen on Arrested Development, HBO’s Getting On and Comedy Central’s @Midnight, and Last Call With Carson Daly. He’s also developing a feature film with the New Frontier Storytelling Lab.

You’ve seen Trevor Noah featured in Jeffrey Gurian’s Jump Around comedy gossip column recently.  He’s an internationally known South African comedian who apologized to our Jeffrey for laughing too loud during Jeffrey’s set, which of course made Jeffrey very happy.

He has also hosted numerous television shows in his native country, including South Africa’s music, television and film awards, the South African Comedy Festival and two seasons of his own late night talk show. In the US, he’s was the first South African comedian to appear on both The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Late Show with David Letterman, and his Showtime comedy special, Trevor Noah: African American premiered in 2013.

Minhaj and Noah will join the talented roster of “The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!” which includes Samantha Bee, Jordan Klepper, Jason Jones, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi, Kristen Schaal and Larry Wilmore, who will be leaving the show at the end of the year to launch The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore in January.
