I lived in New Jersey for my entire life before moving to Rhode Island last year. So it is with great sadness that I have been viewing the horrific images from my home state in the wake of the storm. I have many close friends at the Jersey shore, and in speaking with them the word “gone” keeps coming up. It’s heartbreaking.

I was looking for something I could do to help my friends, and I came up with the idea of doing something that involves what I know best, music. So I reached out to my friends Bob Kendall and Mark Cutler, and asked them to help me. They both responded in under five minutes, and agreed to help organize this benefit. I will always be grateful to them for it – Ken.

The cover charge for the day will be $10, and ALL proceeds will go to the American Red Cross – Jersey Coast Chapter:

Please come out. Enjoy some great music, and help people very much in need.

Thanks so much for putting this information up for me, and for mentioning the benefit on the air. You guys are the best. We’re just trying to help in our own little way. For anyone who is interested, here is a link to the Facebook event page:
