Have The All Girl “Ghostbusters” Been Cast!?
When Paul Feig announced that he was doing a new “Ghostbusters” movie with an all female paranormal detective team, everyone wondered, who’s he gonna call?
It’s looks like now his “Ghostbusters” are coming together. According the Hollywood Reporter, Paul Feig’s comedy muse Melissa McCarthy has signed on to be part of the project. The rest of the potential crew are all coming from Saturday Night Live. The studio is reportedly in negotiations with former SNL player Kristen Wiig and current cast members, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
Kristen Wiig worked with Feig before on the hit comedy, “Bridesmaids”, as did Melissa McCarthy who also worked with the director on “The Heat” and the upcoming April release “Spy”.
Once everyone is on board, shooting is expected to start this Summer in New York City.
