How long could you go without your cell phone? You may last longer than this sitcom.

FOX has given a pilot commitment to a new comedy series called “All Together Now”. It’s a multi-camera sitcom about 6 friends who give up their mobile devices and as described by Deadline, “engage each other for as long as they can stand it”. It almost sounds more like a reality show than a sitcom.

The series is from producers Alec Sulkin and Julius “Goldie” Sharpe who brought the series “Dads” starring Seth Green to FOX last season. They will be the writers and executive producers for “All Together Now”. Sulkin’s credits have included working with Seth MacFarlane on “Family Guy” on TV and in film with “Ted” and “A Million Ways To Die In The West”.

No casting announcements for “All Together Now” have been made yet.
