Forever Dog Podcast Network Launching Eight Podcasts This Summer, Check Out The Previews!

The Forever Dog Podcast Network, which is currently home to shows like Kevin McDonald’s Kevin McDonald Show and The Book of Ye with Rob Haze and Chris Daniels, has announced that it will be greatly expanding its roster of shows this summer with its new Podcast Summer campaign. In an effort to grow its catalog, the FDPN has committed to launching eight new shows between June 1st and September 1st. True to the network’s already diverse lineup, the new batch of shows covers broad ground, from feminist nerd talk with Treks and the City to ultra-niche laundromat podcasts like The Podcast for Laundry, so there’s a little something for everyone.

Below, you can find a brief description for each show, and when each show will officially be launched on the FDPN. All of the shows can be found on iTunes, Stitcher, SoundCloud and other podcasting platforms.

June 1st (already launched): Fresh Batch with Michelle Collins (The View)

– Host Michelle Collins does a roundup of scripted and reality television, providing behind-the-scenes insight and the latest gossip on your favorite stars and shows.

July 6th: The Podcast for Laundry with Brett Davis:

– Andy Kaufman Award winner Brett Davis loves the laundromat. When thinking of an idea for a podcast, he needed a niche, and decided that laundry would be his. Join Davis and a rotating cast of friends as they do their laundry in various NYC laundromats and discuss laundry techniques, the history of laundry through time, the philosophy of laundry, and probably some non laundry-related things too.

July 10th: Regretsville with Tracy Soren and Jessie Jolles (Above Average, Funny or Die)

– These two ladies are hilarious; They’ve also done a lot of horribly embarrassing things. Soren and Jolles, along with a friend, come together each week to discuss their biggest regrets in life, attempting to laugh (and secretly cry) the shame away.

July 12th: Relatively Healthy with Janie Stoller and Dr. Ellen Stoller

– Two sisters: One’s a comedian, the other’s a doctor. Together, the two tackle fans’ issues with sex, dating and general health in what they call a “modern feminist Loveline.”

July 24th: Treks and the City with Alice Wetterlund (Silicon Valley, People of Earth) and Veronica Osorio (Hail Caesar)

– Each week, Wetterlund and Osorio will dissect one episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation from the perspective of a feminist nerd.

August 16th: Turner Masters Memory Hospital written by Catherine Cohen (UCB) and Steven Markow (The New Yorker, Paste)

– This audio play tells the story of a town of rape apologists who are mourning the loss of a horrible local teen named Turner Masters (who probably did what you think he did). Turner Masters Memory Hospital is the new name of the hospital where he died, showing just how hateable most of the town’s denizens will be. Starring Jo Firestone, Peter Smith, Bowen Yang, Joe Castle Baker, Matt Rogers, Mitra Jouhari, Brett Davis and more.

September 1st: Undercover Podcast with Brett Boham

This limited series will star Brett Boham as Detective Dan Riesling, a cop with an interesting method for catching criminals: He invites them onto a podcast and then gets them to unwittingly commit to their crimes before they realize what’s happening.
