Floating Cities Could Become A Reality

By 2020 there are plans for the first functioning “floating community” to be located in the waters of French Polynesia with homes for up to 300 people. This concept is called ‘seasteading’ – the idea of building autonomous, self-sustaining cities in international waters and is being developed by tech billionaires who think this is the next step for mankind. Waterworld didn’t do too well at the box offices and this reboot doesn’t seem like it will do any better.
