This weekend, Jimmy Fallon was honored with the “Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor” which in accordance with the tradition, makes him the Emperor of Comedy. Fallon is the seventh recipient of the prestigious honor which has been bestowed upon greats like Jay Leno, John Cleese and Robin Williams. The festivities included a scheduled parade through Harvard Square in a White Clydesdale adorned Roman Chariot from the Inn at Harvard, to the Lampoon Castle.
But the party was interrupted when Fallon stumbled, tumbled, all while holding a bottle of Jagermeister, requiring a trip to Mass General according to People magazine. No major injuries, just some embarrassment, but come on Jimmy, get it together. You’re a a hazard to your own health. Are you trying to hurt yourself or are you just too cute to pay attention to where you’re going and what you’re doing? Running around with bottles of liquor, reportedly taking selfies with ladies and being all around roman-esque is bound to get you in trouble emperor Fallon. You may want to stick to your desk.
