‘F is for Family’ Renewed for Third Season on Netflix

Comedian Bill Burr announced on Twitter today that his animated sitcom, F is for Family, has been renewed for a third season. The show, which premiered in 2015, is the brainchild of Burr and Simpsons writer Mark Price.

F is for Family follows the daily life of the Murphys, a dysfunctional, middle class 1970’s family headed by patriarch Frank (voiced by Burr). Much of the Murphys’ life is spent trying not to upset Frank, a Korean War veteran with a legendary temper, known for going off on expletive-laden rants on everything from politics to football at the drop of a hat. While they frequently argue, the family has a lot of love for one another, they just have a funny way of showing it.

Last season consisted of ten episodes (upped from six in the first season), and it’s assumed that season three will also be ten episodes long. Season two just came out last month, so we’re still quite awhile away from new episodes, but the news is exciting nonetheless.
