As expected, the NBA had an early matinee game set for Super Bowl Sunday. Notice the past tense, because ESPN has decided not to air that game due to both the Knicks and Lakers being remarkably shitty. It’s nothing new for the Knicks, who have been passed over by ESPN six previous times this season, and whose game against the Pacers next week has been opted out of by TNT.
So what will replace a game between two of the league’s biggest franchises? Celebrity bowling, hosted by Chris Paul.
