Enter the Mind of Dave Chappelle in This New Netflix Teaser

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of Dave Chappelle? What the comic thinks about while he’s, say, sitting on a plane or having some coffee? If so, the trailer for his new Netflix releases will give you a little glimpse.

“If Martin Luther King had a sneaker deal, we’d still be on the back of the bus,” Dave ponders as he sits at an open-air cafe.

“I met O.J. Simpson on four different occasions. That’s like seeing Bigfoot riding a unicorn,” he thinks to himself with stone-cold seriousness.

These are the first snippets of Chappelle’s new material that’s being released to the public at large, and the anticipation is real. For those not in the know, Chappelle signed a $60 million deal with Netflix to release three, hour-specials for the platform. The first two specials have already been recorded — one at the 2015 Austin City Limits Festival, and one in 2016 at the Hollywood Palladium. Those are scheduled to drop at the same time on Netflix on Tuesday, March 21st. The third special will presumably be shot sometime this year.
