Eight Dudes Are As Rich As Half Of The World

Oxfam did the math and figured out that the eight richest men in the world have as much wealth as 3.6 billion people, half the population of the planet. To give some perspective on how quickly the economic makeup of the world is changing— last year Oxfam’s report said that 64 men had as much wealth as half the world. Now it’s eight.

The eight men are Bill Gates, Amancio Ortega, Warren Buffett, Carlos Slim Helu, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison and Mike Bloomberg. At least Bill Gates is stopping malaria, all Jeff Bezos wants to do is have a drone deliver us crap we used to buy in stores.
