Dylan Moran’s Grumbling Mustard Tour Continues in March Across Western US

“Grumbling Mustard is required viewing for serious comedy fans. Whether he’s covering the big political issues facing humanity, or the minutia of everyday life, Dylan is always thoughtful, sharp, and brutally funny.” That was what we wrote when we previewed Moran’s new one man show, Grumbling Mustard, last September in New York City and now the western half of the US finally has dates available to get to see the show.

Award-winning comedian, Dylan Moran, announces the second leg of North American tour dates for his new show, Grumbling Mustard, touring theatres through the western U.S. in March. The third leg of the tour is being planned for June to tour theatres across Canada coast to coast. The show brings Moran’s take on the current American political scene, what it means to be hitting middle age, plus riffs on technology, religion, family and all the absurdities of modern living delivered with Dylan’s uniquely poetic prose, layered over a wonderfully dark view of the universe.

The first leg of the tour kicked off in September 2017 with a week-long, sold-out run in New York City before touring theatres throughout the eastern half of the U.S. We were there for one of those shows, on a brutally hot night in one of the city’s great black box theaters. Listening to one of comedy’s great modern orators talk philosphy and absurdism on a sweltering night felt like a time travel trip back to when New Yorkers frequently gathered to hear poetry and wax philosophical but with thoroughly modern topics and takes. The night I checked it out he had some incredible observations about Americans and modern humanity, including the disappeareance from God in our lives and what we’ve replaced that function with, and American’s constant need to be watched.
