Does The KFC Comic Book Explain The Colonel Sanders Swap?

Since Darrell Hammond was replaced by Norm MacDonald to portray the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, they’ve kept giving hints that at least one of them was a fake. Perhaps it’s because a new DC Comics book has come out, and the plot is about Colonel Sanders fighting an imposter from an alternate universe. So does that make Darrell or Norm the evil doppelgänger?
Well, in the comics he wears a black suit (which, interestingly, the real Harland Sanders wore before switching to all white), and goes by the name “Colonel Sunders.” Can’t wait for the big blockbuster movie adaptation!
